Narrative for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary

The Department of Nursing at Massachusetts Eye and Ear utilizes unit specific staffing plans to guide the care delivered in our organization. Each unit's staffing plan reflects the historical volume of the unit as well as patient acuity and complexity.
Additional staff is provided when there are increased patient care needs based on acuity and complexity.
