The Hallmark Health Nursing Staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care for the communities we serve. In achieving this mission, we utilize reliable staffing benchmarks such as Patients First and the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators, to continually compare and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of our care team.

The Hallmark Health System professional model of care is the Synergy Model – a holistic model where patient/family needs are matched to a nurse’s level of expertise, which directly contributes to optimal patient outcomes. Recently, the Hallmark Health System began implementation of a new staffing, scheduling and acuity system to assist us in nursing resource management and to expand on our efforts in providing the highest quality of patient care. We listened to our own nursing staff who had requested a reliable and valid method to capture the care requirements of our patients. The acuity component of our system relies on the clinical judgement of our professional nurses. The data from this system, as complemented by the Patients First and National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators benchmarks, assists us in the planning and delivery of nursing care.
