Encompass Health of Braintree and Framingham specialize in acute rehabilitation. Staffing ratios for direct patient care is not just about nursing but are supported by our other disciplines as well. Our team goal and approach are to collaborate with the patient and family to focus on how to get the patient home. Here at Encompass a patient will receive three hours of therapy a day, in addition to the 24/7 nursing care. On average a nurse has 1-7/9 patients depending on time of day. Within these ratio's the team caring for our patients also consist of physical therapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, nutrition, respiratory therapist, rehabilitation nursing technician's and other disciplines as needed.
