Other Reasons for +/- 5% Variance
Staff covers all Code 99 and Rapid Responses throughout the house. ICU recovers selected Post-operative patients and selected Cardiac Cath patients. Patients for new services such as Bariatric Surgery required ICU. Implementation and training for the new electronic nursing documentation required extra staffing.
