Additional Unit Information:
Unit has high number of admissions and discharges. 2 secretaries are assigned to the unit on days and evenings to support the volume of activity. The unit frequently has modified duty staff assigned to assist with admissions/discharges and patient teaching.
 
 
Other Team Members:
Staff Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Wound Care Specialist available to all shifts as needed. Social work and Case Management available evenings/nights/weekends as needed. Rehabilitation Nursing Assistant is assigned to the unit 7 days a week on 7-3 shift and is not included in the staffing numbers above. The Rehab Aide cues patients in bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility activities.
