| Additional Unit Information: |
| The Intensive Care unit is a ten bed unit that provides both intensive monitoring and treatment. The primary focus is for critically ill medical/surgical patients.
Additionally they provide close observation for high risk post operative patients.
Budgeted census is an average.
Daily staffing varies to meet anticipated census fluction
Staffing reviewed and adjusted for volume and acuity each shift
RN Clinical Level and experience is considered in scheduling and assignments.
Miniimum 2 Rns each shift.
Staffing plan calls for a 1:1 or 1:2 RN/Patient ratio based on acuity. |

Residents for all orthopedics
AT&T line available 24 hours for interpreting. There is also a contract for personal interpreters when needed. |
