Restraint/Seclusion used when indicated Staff serve as consultant/resource to other areas Contractual reviews are done with all insurance providers Nurse Manager also functions as charge nurse 80% of the time and is reflected in staffing Staff are members of the behavioral crisis respose team Staffing is adjusted to the intensity of patient care required Hospital-wide teaching around managing behavioral health crisis management RN provide inhouse mental health assessment as needed ECT is done on both inpatients and outpatients - 2S staff provide discharge teaching for the outpatient ECT patients
