Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet a philosophy of demonstraton of caring behaviors to our patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency utilization promote consistency and continuity in care delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure. Ed is a newly renovated 35 bed unit seeing 50,000 patients/year. Pediatric care is supported by Children's Hospital physicians 7 days/week. Primary and elective angioplasty is available. RNs are certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
