Unit Information: |
Martha's Vineyard Hospital has a high seasonal cenus variability, the average daily censu Oct - May is 30 visits which climbs to 80 daily visits June - September. Staffing is augmented during the seasonal months and adjusted based on volume and patient acuity on a shift to shift basis. |

Other Team Members: |
A Fast Track is offered 10 am - 10 pm mid- June through mid-September and is staffed with a physician and LPN. The nursing staff is augmented with unlicensed nursing personnel June through September assisiting with routine nursing duties such as blood drawing, and EKGs. Respiratory therapy is in the building 7am - 7pm and on call the rest of the day. Behavioral heatlh counselors are on call 24/7. Intrpeter services are available with a Brazilian intepreter 24/7, the AT & T translator service is available at all times for other languages. Secretarial support is scheduled 20 hours per day. |
