Additional Unit Information: |
This is a combined med/surg adult and pediaric unit whose focus is primarily, but not limited to surgical and orthopedic adult care. Census is in part influenced by seasonal variation. When the unit is at its peak, it can have as many as 37 patients. Staff must be increased at peak times. Staff education and pharmacy are centralized. Interpreter services is available on site part time, on call other times. |
