Martha's Vineyard Hospital has a high variability with patient census based on season. The average daily census from Oct-May is 30 while it climbs to 80 in June - September |

Other Team Members: |
A Fast Track is offered 9am-9pm mid-June through mid-September staffed with LPNs. ER is augmented with unlicensed personnel June through September to assist the nursing staff with transports and routine procedures such as blood drawing and EKGs. Respiratory therapists are in the hospital from 7am - 7 pm, then they are on call with a response time of 30 minutes. Behavioral health is also available 24 hours per day in an on call status. Interpreter service available 24/7 using AT & T, Brazilian Portugese interpreters on call 24 hours per day. Mental health services are available in an on call status 24/7.
