Unit Information: |
The ED is a community Emergency Department with27 beds. Behavioral counseling staff is on call 24 hours. Security staff provide patient observation 24 hours. Staff education and pharmacist are centralized. Interpreters are on site part time and on call all other times. Patient greeter (title is Patient Liaison) is on site 4pm to 9 pm daily. Unlicensed assistive personnel is a dedicated phlebotomist for the ED 16 hours daily from 0830 to 0130. |
