| Additional Unit Information: |
| Attending MDs (Hospitalists, Intensivists, Neonatologist,
Fellows), Spiritual Services, EKG department, Clinical
Equipment and Information Service supports are all "on call"
for evening and night shifts. Nursing Supervisor is available
on evening and night shift for management and education
needs. CCTs are cross-trained for secretarial function on
the night shift. PA/NPs take in-house call for services not
covered by interns and residents. Unit does 12 hr shifts &
staff care for med-surg, coronary & cardiothoracic patients.
Resource Nurse role over staff to assist unit operations
every shift.
