| Additional Unit Information: |
| The Intensive Care Unit is a ten bed unit that provides both intensive monitoring and treatment. The primary focus is critically ill medical/surgical patients. They also provide care for high risk post operative patients for close observation.
Budgeted census is an average
Daily Staffing varies to meet anticipated census fluctuation but can never be less than 2 RNs per shift.
Staffing reviewed and adjusted for volume and acuity each shift
RN Clinical Level and experience considered in scheduling and daily assignments
