Other Team Members:
Med/Surg staff educator supports this department. Director is accountable, she reports to the VP of Patient Care. Two to one ratio, but there is always a float nurse for code. ICU and IMC clinical nurse specialists function as managers off shift. Nutritionist available until 6 PM. Nursing students occasionally. IV nurses cover inpatient departments. There is a float nurse in the staffing ratio.
