Additional Unit Information:
This is a free standing 21 bed unit within an acute facility. They have community physician coverage model. Services such as lab, blood bank and response team are contracted services provided by the acute facility.
 
 
Other Team Members:
Nursing education is provided by one nurse educator with support from Nursing leadership. The educational plan is defined by identified issues via monitoring and staff survey. Nursing leadership on all 3 shifts supports the educational process as well as outside speakers. Wound Nurse and physiatrist round weekly to assist with care planning
