Knowles unit closed on March 28, 2008 for renovations. The unit remained closed throughout the fiscal year.

Additional Comments
During the winter months of 2008 Knowles had higher than budgeted census. While transitioning patients and staff off the unit for renovations there was loss in efficiencies (economies of scale) with lowering census to zero.
