| Additional Unit Information: |
| Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet
a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our
patients. Low nursing turnover promotes consistency and continuity in care
delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the
Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure.
50/50 Med/Surg with Oncology, Rapid turnover for
Surgical patients, Mental Health Consults, Spectra-link
phone system. Chemo Certified RNs available 24 hours per
day, 1:1 patient observers available, Centralized Lab,
Wound Care, Pain Specialist.
