Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our patients. Low nursing turnover promotes consistency and continuity in care delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure. The CVU is a fully monitored Cardio/Vascular Unit treating pre and post cardiac catheterization, cardiac angioplasty, EP studies, ablations, Pacemakers, ICDs and endovascular diagnostic procedures.

Other Team Members:
Interpreter Services: 24/7 This unit cares for pre and post procedural patients and their volume is not included in the number of patients days. As such there are additional personnel on this unit to manage these patients, separate from the inpatients.
