Additional Unit Information:
Martha's Vineyard Hospital is a critical access hospital. The ICU has a variable patient census, when the department is closed the nursing staff are placed on call or floated to another department as needed. The staffing pattern is based on a 1-2 patient to RN ratio but it is adjusted based on acuity and census.
