| All hospital support services available but seldom utilized by this patient population. Psych physicians available for evaluation. Social Work, .50 Occupational Therapist (shared with AAU), Activities Coordinator in cost center and part of daily on-unit staff. Nursing education provided by centralized department, and is not unit-based. Precepting, orientation and competency best practice education require additional staffing. Coverage by a pediatrician. On-unit school teacher. Full-time Nurse manager has 24 hour responsibility. Interpreters available all shifts. Off-Shift Manager (Supervisor) available Mon-Fri Eves and Nights and all weekend. |
