Other Team Members:
RNs - mostly 12 hour shifts and also Baylor plan staffing on weekends. IV therapy 12 hours per day. Nursing education provided by centralized department, and is not unit-based. Rapid response team in development. Budgeted staffing based on average acuity/work assignment. Shifts in acuity/workload influence staffing. Nurse manager has 24 hour responsibility for 6N, IV Team and float pool. Increased staffing required for precepting, orientation and best practice education. Interpreters are available all shifts. Off-Shift Manager (Supervisor) available Mon-Fri Eves and Nights and all weekend.
