Additional Unit Information:
Nurse management has 24 hour responsibility for the unit. Other supportive staff available for unit as needed include: Interpreter Services, Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurses. There are 8.2 FTEs of centrally based patient care staff who are available to observe and protect patients at elevated safety risk (i.e. at risk for pulling out lines/tubes or at risk for harming themselves or others).
