Unit Information: |
Martha's Vineyard Hospital has a high seasonal census variability, the average daily census October - May is 30 visits a day, during the summer season the average visits per day is 80. Staffing is adjusted to accomodate the higher census and patient acuity. |

Other Team Members: |
A Fast Track is offered 10am - 10 pm mid June through mid September and is staffed with a physician and LPN. The RN staff is augmented with additonal RNs and unlicensed assistive personnel during the same time frame. Behavioral health counselors are on call 24/7. Interpreter services for the Brazilian community are available 24/7 on an on call basis, the AT & T interpreter services are used for other languages. Secretarial support is scheduled from 6 am to 2 am daily. |
