Other Reasons for +/- 5% Variance
The TBI unit has seen an increase in the volume of patients requiring 1:1 supervision due to safety concerns. Spaulding uses the QuadraMed nursing acuity system to adjust staffing as needed to meet patient’s needs. We also have a float pool of RN's and UAP staff to assist with acuity and census fluctuation.
