Use of NASH to assist with staffing in the ICU has helped to increase productivity there. Non-ICU patients, mostly telemetry patients are put in the ICU to maintain an average daily census of 4 to 5. The ICU did not have an aide in the past however the plan this year is to add an aide for 12 hours a day to assist with the increase in ADLs required.
