| Additional Unit Information: |
| Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet |
| a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our |
| patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency |
| utilization promote consistency and continuity in care |
| delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the |
| Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure. |
| Geri-Psych Unit, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, |
| Clinical Nurse Specialist, 16 bed voluntary Geriatric Psych - |
| serving patients 55 years and over with Psych/Med |
| co-morbidities. Treatment is provided by a multi-disciplinary |
| team using a variety of modalities |
