Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet
a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our
patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency
utilization promote consistency and continuity in care
delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the
Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure.
Geri-Psych Unit, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant,
Clinical Nurse Specialist, 16 bed voluntary Geriatric Psych -
serving patients 55 years and over with Psych/Med
co-morbidities. Treatment is provided by a multi-disciplinary
team using a variety of modalities
