Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet
a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our
patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency
utilization promote consistency and continuity in care
delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the
Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure.
Inpatient psych unit serving children ages 3-16 years
Multi-disciplinary treatment team. Unit recognized
state-wide in restraint elimination project. Use wide range
of treatment modalities. Classroom teacher.
