| Additional Unit Information: |
| Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet |
| a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our |
| patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency |
| utilization promote consistency and continuity in care |
| delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the |
| Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure. |
| 50/50 Med/Surg with Oncology, Rapid turnover for |
| Surgical patients, Mental Health Consults, Spectra-link |
| phone system. Chemo Certified RNs available 24 hours per |
| day, 1:1 patient observers available, Centralized Lab, |
| Wound Care, Pain Specialist. |
| LPN coverage - Days-three shifts per week; Evening-one |
| and one half shifts per week |
