Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet
a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our
patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency
utilization promote consistency and continuity in care
delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the
Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure.
Predominantly Cardiac volume/limited drips, Spectra-link
phone system,1:1 patient observers available, Centralized
Lab, Mental Health Consults. RNs- Advanced Cardiac Life
Support, Dietary Aides - Days and Evenings, Wound Care, Pain
Specialist, Code Team.
Telemetry Unit.
LPN coverage - Days-two shifts per week; Evenings-two
shifts per week
