| Additional Unit Information: |
| Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet |
| a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our |
| patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency |
| utilization promote consistency and continuity in care |
| delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the |
| Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure. |
| Responsible for pre & post-op care of SDC patients |
| RNs - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certified, several |
| RNs certified in Juvenile Diabetes Education, Residency |
| program affiliated with Children's Hospital, Care for |
| appropriate adult patients. |
