Additional Unit Information:
Nursing care is organized to support team work and to meet
a philosophy of demonstration of caring behaviors to our
patients. Low nursing turnover and minimal agency
utilization promote consistency and continuity in care
delivery. Our nursing staff members also participate in the
Division of Nursing's Shared Governance structure.
Responsible for pre & post-op care of SDC patients
RNs - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certified, several
RNs certified in Juvenile Diabetes Education, Residency
program affiliated with Children's Hospital, Care for
appropriate adult patients.
