| Additional Unit Information: |
| Three staff memebers must be present at all times as CCU |
| is part of the code team. If CCU has six patients or less |
| there is one RN placed on call. |
| At times Med-Surg patients are placed in CCU to utilize the |
| staff that is there when there are not critical care patients. |
| CCU is also used to recover surgical patient's after hours |
| if the unit is not full, thus decreasing the amount of on-call |
| for post anesthesia recovery unit. |
| All telemetry patients are placed in CCU, only area for |
| telemetry in house. |
| Pharmacist available to all units. |
