| Additional Unit Information: |
| Tele 2 PCU is a med/surg step down unit that shares staff & |
| management with the Tele 2 Unit. The Tele 2 Certified |
| Nursing Assistants work with Tele Unit & PCU patients. |
| The step down unit provides care to more acute patients |
| with medical illnesses and post operative patients who |
| require closer monitoring. |
| Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm. |
| 1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated. |
| Nursing students are on the unit various days & evenings |
| during the school year. |
| Unit Manager is an RN with 24 hours per day accountability. |
| Centralized staff educator and pharmacist. |
| Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006. |
| Patient Transport Team until 9pm. |
