Additional Unit Information:
Tele 2 PCU is a med/surg step down unit that shares staff &
management with the Tele 2 Unit. The Tele 2 Certified
Nursing Assistants work with Tele Unit & PCU patients.
The step down unit provides care to more acute patients
with medical illnesses and post operative patients who
require closer monitoring.
Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm.
1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated.
Nursing students are on the unit various days & evenings
during the school year.
Unit Manager is an RN with 24 hours per day accountability.
Centralized staff educator and pharmacist.
Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006.
Patient Transport Team until 9pm.
