Additional Unit Information:
Unit is a busy cardiac telemetry unit with significant
patient turnover. Specific medication infusions and
procedures are done on the unit. Positive Myocardial
Infarction patients who are stable and cared for on the unit.
Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm.
1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated.
Nursing students are on the unit specified days & evenings
during the school year.
Unit manager is an RN with 24 hours per day accountability.
Centralized staff educator and pharmacist.
Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006.
Patient Transport Team until 9pm.
