| Additional Unit Information: |
| Unit is a busy cardiac telemetry unit with significant |
| patient turnover. Specific medication infusions and |
| procedures are done on the unit. Positive Myocardial |
| Infarction patients who are stable and cared for on the unit. |
| Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm. |
| 1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated. |
| Nursing students are on the unit specified days & evenings |
| during the school year. |
| Unit manager is an RN with 24 hours per day accountability. |
| Centralized staff educator and pharmacist. |
| Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006. |
| Patient Transport Team until 9pm. |
