| Additional Unit Information: |
| Gannett PCU is a med/surg/cardiac step down unit that |
| provides high level care, including medication infusions, |
| and stable ventilator care. |
| Positive Myocardial Infarction patients who are stable and |
| cared for on the unit. |
| Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm. |
| 1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated. |
| Centralized staff educator and pharmacist. |
| Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006. |
| Patient Transport Team until 9pm. |
| Unit manager is an RN with 24 hour accountability. |
