| 4th quarter FY06 - one patient requiring 1:1 coverage 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Additional Nursing staffing is provided to cover patient care assignment when preceptors are assigned exclusively to new staff on orientation - increasing staffing numbers. New nursing staff are on orientation every week on this unit, requiring increased numbers to accommodate consistent and dedicated precepting. Implementation of chemotherapy program - requiring 1:1 coverage for patients. |
