| From July 25th on, 3 telemetry beds from Tele 2 were converted to progressive care beds to accommodate bed closure on Gannett. Staffing was adjusted to meet the increased acuity. Also, the high care requirement of the population on the unit was identified, and additional positions were added in May of 2006, increasing the hours of care per patient day planned for the unit. The actual staffing was adjusted to reflect this. |
