| Additional Unit Information: |
| This is an 18 bed med/surg telemetry unit. It accommodates |
| higher acuity postoperative patients and medically complex |
| patients requiring monitoring. |
| Hospitalists are available Monday - Friday until 7pm. |
| 1:1 patient observers are utilized as indicated. |
| Nursing students are on the unit various days & evenings |
| during the school year. |
| Unit Manager is an RN with 24 hours per day accountability. |
| Centralized staff educator and pharmacist. |
| Rapid Response Team beginning February 2006. |
| Patient Transport Team until 9pm. |
